Morning Choir brought a steamy night of melodic techno to the Fruit, closing out a hot summer with raw, aggressive energy from the first beat. From local talent to international headliners, the lineup kept the crowd fully immersed until the final drop.

VYNAVI opened with a set that immediately got the room moving. In his words, he kept the energy “not too crazy,” leaving space for the night to build. Despite some headphone issues, he maintained his flow, later crediting Haru Urara—the winless racehorse—as inspiration for his persistence during the performance. From Melbourne bounce to tech house, VYNAVI brings infectious energy to the dance floor—an energizer bunny behind the decks. Much of the set featured his own flips, giving the sound a distinctly personal touch.

Rab!d Ronie, recently relocated from Asheville to Richmond, returned with passion and new music, debuting a track that warned the crowd: “It’s about to get rabid.” She commands the decks, absorbing the crowd’s momentum and firing it right back. Her selections span club favorites and hard-hitting techno—an eclectic arsenal skillfully woven into a cohesive journey. “Be a star,” she had been told just prior to the set, and she was exactly that.

ProdiG and thefacesblur crafted a dynamic back-to-back—Adam (thetacesblur) driving heads-down minimal techno, and G (ProdiG) layering in melodic and vocal textures. ProdiG is still a relative newcomer, having opened for Layton Giordani last year after only a few months of practice. That practice came by way of Adam, who helped teach G, making this B2B a satisfying full-circle moment between student and mentor.

The room was beyond packed, spilling from the main floor into every open space. There was a sense the night was building toward something, the air thick with anticipation. As midnight struck, the energy finally tipped over as the crowd chanted: “We want KREAM, we want KREAM, we want KREAM.”

KREAM closed the night on a high note, cranking the tension to its peak before unleashing a cathartic release on the dance floor. Norwegian brothers Daniel and Markus Slettebakken, on their Arrival Tour 2025, delivered their signature melodic techno. The set drew full crowd engagement, that frenetic, raw energy never relenting—proof of a room full of diehard fans ready to rage until sunrise.
